Well Water Treatment
Hawkins Water Tech offers a wide variety of equipment for your well water treatment needs. The treatment of your well water will depend on the quality of your water.
We have found that one standard approach to treating various contaminants in your water does not always work.
Many times one treatment option that works on one water supply fails another with similar contaminants. That is why we offer a free, in-home water test which can be followed up with a full laboratory analysis, if necessary.
Some water in the Michiana area has been found to contain iron, arsenic and other contaminants that can not only affect your home, but your family’s health as well.
In order to properly design a water treatment system, an analysis must be done to identify the contaminants in your water. This will allow us to provide you with a system that works well year after year. Contact our office for an individual evaluation and specific treatment options.
If you are simply researching water treatment options, our friends at the Water Quality Association created a handy guide to help you navigate all the jargon, science, and options behind getting the best water possible.
The following recent study released by the U.S. Geological Survey looks at contaminants in public, private and monitoring wells and is another good resource while you’re researching treatment options.

He showed up on time, and did a wonderful job re-configuring our existing plumbing schematic. His professional design is neat and attractive and takes up minimal space. The system in working well. The water tastes as good, or better, than any bottled water. We are glad that we chose Hawkins for the job, over numerous other companies offering water conditioning systems. Keep up the good work.

Upon examining the installation, Kevin (the service tech) observed that the carbon filtration unit was plumbed ahead of the softener, which meant it was doing the “heavy lifting” of removing iron, a task that was well beyond its intended assignment.
Kevin re-plumbed the carbon unit and reprogrammed the softener, even though it is not one Hawkins sells. He did an outstanding job and his knowledge, work effort and demeanor were a fine reflection on your company.
I have never dealt with another company as fantastic as HWT. From the first contact, to the calls to set up the install, to the install itself- everything has been A+. I love my water now- which is huge for me. I am thrilled to be a customer of yours

I called with a problem on equipment Hawkins did not install that I was sure would need to be replaced. Curt made a trip to my house the same day and did something very unusual for a typical salesman – he fixed our old unit! He was so educational – teaching me how to use the unit and explaining all the working parts. His help was truly a blessing in our lives as replacing the unit would have been quite a burden for us right now. I will definitely give Hawkins and Curt my future business. Thank you and God Bless!

Their team bent over backwards to ensure that our final water treatment system met our expectations. I use the word “team” in its truest sense. Our installation included water softening and a reverse osmosis (RO) system. It turned out that we didn’t care for the taste of the RO water. That’s where the team at Hawkins really showed their commitment to customer satisfaction. They worked with us to try solving this issue – without any hesitation. In the end, we had the RO unit removed and switched over to filtered hard water for drinking. It turned out that my wife and I just didn’t like the taste of RO water. During this process we were impressed with the diligence that the Hawkins Team placed in resolving our issue. As if that wasn’t enough, we received full reimbursement for the removed RO unit. To sum it up – call Hawkins Water if you are considering installing a water treatment system.
