When our son gave us a new Rainsoft water treatment system, we were grateful….until the brine tank overflowed three times! We needed help, so we called Hawkins Water Tech.
Upon examining the installation, Kevin (the service tech) observed that the carbon filtration unit was plumbed ahead of the softener, which meant it was doing the “heavy lifting” of removing iron, a task that was well beyond its intended assignment.
Kevin re-plumbed the carbon unit and reprogrammed the softener, even though it is not one Hawkins sells. He did an outstanding job and his knowledge, work effort and demeanor were a fine reflection on your company.

We built a new house about 9 years ago and had your company install one of your great water softeners. We also continued to buy all of our salt from you. A couple months ago after I cleaned out the salt tank, we stopped having soft water. I called and talked to one of your service guys and was ready to pay for a service call. He told me what to do over the phone and it took care of the problem. I just want to thank you for the great service and a great product.

First improvement we made to our new house... We only had to deal with hard water and a clogged up, spray your face off, pins and needles, cheap hotel style shower head for 3 days but I'll be the first to admit that a sucky shower can absolutely alter your mood. Not only did our water technician work around our schedule to do the initial water testing and assessment, our installation professional moved our service date up, was extremely polite, didn't mind our dogs (even gave one a hug) and he completed the additional work we requested on short notice with a smile and no complaints (we asked that he service our water heater after he had already arrived) To top off this excellent experience, Hawkins did NOT try to sell us products we didn't actually need (contrary to our experience with another water company) and they were less than HALF the price of their competitors. I am writing to commend your technician, Arlin Yoder, for the terrific job he did installing the softener and purification water system at our Edwardsburg lake house. He showed up on time, and did a wonderful job re-configuring our existing plumbing schematic. His professional design is neat and attractive and takes up minimal space. The system in working well. The water tastes as good, or better, than any bottled water. We are glad that we chose Hawkins for the job, over numerous other companies offering water conditioning systems. Keep up the good work.
